We have highly educated staff with many years of experience working with families. Our programs are unique for each family. Infant Toddler Services of Kansas, provided by TARC​

Providing early intervention services to help infants and toddlers with developmental delays achieve their full potential.

Infant Toddler Services of Kansas serves families with children from birth to age 3 to provide early intervention for physical and intellectual developmental delays or disabilities. Trained and licensed early intervention professionals provide services by visiting the child in the home, at childcare, or other natural learning environments. Along with professional expertise and advice, the licensed early interventionist coach the parents and caregivers in ways they can help the child on a daily basis make progress towards developmental milestones.

How much does Infant Toddler Services of Kansas cost?

Services are provided at no cost to families.

From birth to age 3, children’s brains develop an incredible capacity to learn. If you notice a delay in your infant or toddler, such as not crawling, walking or talking, taking action is important. Early intervention is vital to address developmental delays.

Parents and Children Together (PACT) Program​

A parenting program that supports parents with the challenges of learning parenting information.

The PACT (Parents and Children Together) Program at TARC offers prenatal visits and support to parents of children under the age of 8 through a variety of services including home visits, in person parent groups, virtual parent groups, and a Facebook page. 

Who might join PACT? 

Individuals who receive, or have received, extra supports in school or as an adult to learn new skills.

TARC staff provides intensive home visitation services to educate and help parents develop and/or build upon their basic parenting skills. Staff also provides assistance accessing needed resources and provides emotional support to parents as they struggle with the daily challenges of raising young children.

The PACT program also offers a monthly parent group opportunities for participants. The PACT group meets in-person, virtually, and utilizes a private Facebook group.

TARC collaborates with other community agencies to provide additional education regarding various parenting issues. Previous topics included: basic first aid, home and child safety, developmentally appropriate play and teaching appropriate behavior. Parents play a pivotal role in this group and help identify topics, actively participate in discussions and share their experiences. 

To be eligible for PACT

  • One or more of the parents must have a developmental learning challenges and want support in parenting.
  • Parents must have a child between the ages of birth to 3 years old, or be expecting a child, to receive intensive home visitation.
  • Parents with children between the ages of 3 to 8 years old may continue to receive monthly home visits and attend our parent group.

TARC Feeding Clinic

Supporting children with feeding challenges through specialized therapy to promote nutrition and independence.

TARC’s Feeding Clinic provides specialized support to families of children with feeding and swallowing difficulties. This program helps children and their caregivers overcome challenges such as difficulty chewing, swallowing, or accepting a variety of foods. With a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians, the clinic creates personalized plans to address each child’s unique needs. Services are offered in a family-centered environment to ensure children achieve their fullest potential in eating and mealtime skills.
