RESPONSIBILITIES: I. MAINTAIN MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS
- Sub-Contract Work:
- Determine maximum/minimum inventory levels of supplies, establish contract due dates, follow quality assurance requirements and ship contracts as specified.
- In conference with TARC Industries Production Team, determine production capabilities, schedule production, and originate work orders.
- Organize annual audit of inventory levels for the Finance Division.
- Issue work orders to Employment Associates.
- Provide oversight bidding, contracting and meet material/labor/overhead standards.
- Maintain quality standards in accordance with the Quality Control Program at TARC Industries.
- Update raw material costs frequently for bid proposal purposes.
- On location snack shop
- Provide supervision to Snack Shop Assistant.
- Work with team members to address janitorial needs for the building.
- Ensure product pricing remains competitive. Budget is maintained.
- Ensure food storage needs are addressed.
- Document Destruction
- Ensure compliance with NAID Document Destruction Standards and maintain NAID certification policy and procedure manual.
- Oversee customer satisfaction, scheduling and monitor pricing model. Complete required oversight for document destruction customers and communicate regularly with team.
- Provide oversight into Mailing, Printing and Document Destruction projects.
II. CONTRACT DEVELOPMENT
- Participate in the assessment of feasibility.
- Analyze contract requirements.
- Work in coordination with the Business Manager on preliminary cost estimating.
- Execute methods study in conjunction with Production Team, including specification of workflow diagramming for on-going contracts.
- Pursue on-going improvements in existing contract work in conjunction with Production team and Employment Associates.
III. CONTRACT BIDDING
- Maintain accurate bidding practices and on-going assessment of on-going contracts.
- Present contract opportunities to the Director for study into feasibility and profitability.
- Initiate change orders and re-bids if original contract requirements change.
- Monitor contract material costs and labor costs. Complete reports as requested for Division Director.
IV. CONTACT WITH BUSINESSES
- Maintain professional working relationships with all contractors and subcontractors.
- Provide superior customer services to customers. Ensure feedback received is relayed to the Division Director. Respond in a professional manner to all customer issues.
V. MATERIAL/LOGISTICS
- Receive purchase orders from contractors. Ensure contracts are logged into the
- TARC Industries Daily Production Summary.
- Schedule delivery/shipping via appropriate carrier when needed.
- Prepare requisitions for materials and supplies for submission for approval to the Division Director.
- Order materials/supplies as needed.
- Ensure delivery of contract supplies and materials through contact with the company.
- Provide oversight to TARC Industries preventative maintenance schedule, specifically TARC equipment, forklifts and the shredder and baler. Oversee maintenance needs of production vehicles.
- Maintain Document Destruction pick up schedule and determine most efficient routing of customers.
VI. REPORTING
- Ensure the TARC Industries Quality Control Program is operational, and reports are submitted in a timely and correct fashion.
- Ensure the manual for TARC Industries contractors who have specific quality requirements for labeling, packaging, and shipping (i.e., USPC, MDC, bulk mailing, etc.) is maintained and updated. Work with customers to ensure MSDS sheets are received if the bid indicates this requirement.
VII. TRAINING
- Provide work methods training.
- Educate employees on productivity measurement procedures.
- Educate employees and implement Time Study procedures as outlined by the Department of Labor.
- Provide annual NAID training.
VIII. ADMINISTRATION
- Make recommendations for the development of TARC Industries budget for production income and operation expenses.
- Provide direct supervision of the TARC Industries Production team.
- Recruit, identify, and select applicants for team member positions.
- *Provide ongoing encouragement, motivation, and support to all team personnel.
- Complete and coordinate team personnel performance evaluations.
- Oversee team scheduling and coordination of personnel, including request for leave authorization.
- Monitor, coordinate, and authorize training opportunities that meet agency requirements and encourage the growth and development of each team member in their position.
- Ensure Forklift trainings are completed as required. Ensure forklifts, pallet Jacks, and other production equipment is operated in a safe manner.
