Celebrating Volunteers

 In our Day Program we offer several different volunteer opportunities for people who want to make the commitment to give back to their community. Over the next few months we will be spotlighting all of our volunteer groups.  

 This month we are featuring our Meals on Wheels Volunteers. Our group delivers meals 3 days a week. Everyone really looks forward to the opportunity to get out into their community and help individuals who are home-bound. These volunteers are out there in the bitter cold, the rain and the heat to make sure people have a hot lunch. We appreciate their willingness and compassion to give back to others. Through this program people have built relationships and bonds with the clients they deliver to. This opportunity is definitely a win-win for everyone that is involved!
