Giving Thanks with our Friends

With holidays in full swing, TARC’s Day Services has a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving. Persons supported look forward to the lunch every year! The day is filled with family, friends, case managers and this year, our friends from Topeka Collegiate!

Persons supported helped with shopping for turkey, ham and other supplies to make a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner. Those who participated in cooking class learned how to make homemade pumpkin pies, gravy and how to cook a turkey! Not only was this a delicious feast, but there were many teachable moments for the people supported.

TARC’s Day Services appreciates all the people who volunteered to make Thanksgiving dinner a successful and fun event!
