Celebrating Kansas’ 159th Birthday!

TARC’s Day Services enjoyed celebrating the state’s birthday on January 29th!

Participants in day Services spent their morning learning how to make butter from scratch to eat on their homemade rolls. They also spent their morning learning facts about Kansas and playing a little trivia about the state. 

Participants also make a beautiful and tasty sunflower birthday cake, with Twinkies and chocolate cake. After enjoying the birthday treat, Day Services participants enjoyed watching “The Wizard of Oz.”
