Giving Thanks

The holidays are in full swing and we had memorable time celebrating Thanksgiving. Everyone looks forward to our wonderful dinner with friends, case managers and family members. What is great about the holiday dinner is that we teach the total process of preparing a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. People go shopping for all of the ingredients and then come back and assist in the cooking preparations.
This year we had a great time cleaning, peeling and chopping fresh apples for some delicious pies.
So not only is this a great tradition enjoyed by so many, it provided a lot of teachable moments for the people supported.
We appreciate all of the volunteers who helped make this event go so smoothly. We are thankful for each and everyone of you.
