New Year, New You
With the New Year amongst us we have been teaching and discussing healthier options we can make for ourselves. In one of our cooking classes we talked about healthier snack foods we could enjoy. Participants then made some very tasty homemade apple chips. The apple chips seemed to be a big hit and everyone had a lot of fun making them! In future classes we will be making other recipes with secret healthy ingredients in them!
We recently installed a new TV in front of our treadmills in the Health Center. This is in hopes to help get people motivated and excited to exercise. We have people who love music and enjoy walking while listening to their favorite tunes. Some people have even set goals on walking daily. Here is to a healthier us in the New Year !
