SPARKK was developed by a group of dedicated family members with a need for respite care and the commitment for providing quality supports and services to children with disabilities or delays in Shawnee County. The collaboration between TARC’s Children’s Services, the Shawnee County CDDO and families resulted in this program designed to provide parents with some downtime while their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment.
SPARKK is held two Friday evenings a month from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at TARC’s Administrative Building, 2701 SW Randolph, Topeka. SPARKK is for children between 6 months and 16 years of age that have an IEP or IFSP. Siblings ARE welcome!
A minimal fee will cover an evening filled with quality supports, stimulating activities, dinner and guaranteed fun.
We would love to spend a Friday evening with your children! Enrollment is quick and easy! Registration for SPARKK dates are taken on the first day of the month prior to the scheduled date and continues until full. Families can only utilize the program once per month.
