TOPEKA, Kan. – Representatives from Topeka’s Qdoba will announce the results from their 10th Anniversary Celebration to benefit TARC that was held September 10, 2018. The 10th Anniversary of their Topeka location offered two burritos or burrito bowls for $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting TARC.

TARC to host Special Olympic Send-off

TARC TO HOST SEND-OFF FOR SPECIAL OLYMPIANS

 

TOPEKA, Kan. (May 31, 2018) – Friday, June 1st , TARC will host the official send-off celebration for the Topeka and Shawnee County Special Olympians.   The 2018 Summer Games will be held in Wichita June 1st-3rd.

 

Special activities will begin at 7:35 am at the TARC Administrative offices, located at 2701 SW Randolph Avenue.  The community is encouraged to attend and show support for these dedicated athletes.  Highlights of the event will include appearances by our friends at KSNT, the Topeka High Drum line, local mascots and special friends from Frito Lay. The Topeka Police Department will also be participating and assisting with the celebration and send-off.

64th Annual Awards Banquet
What: TARC’s 64th Annual Awards
Where: Big Gage Shelter House, 635 South Gage Blvd, Topeka, Kan.
When: Monday, March 12, 6:30 pm
TOPEKA, Kan. (March 12) – TARC will hosted their 64th Annual Awards Celebration, Tuesday evening, March 12, 2018 at the Big Gage Shelter House. The festivities will be hosted by KSNT’s Brittany Moore and Gretchen Koenen with awards presented by TARC’s Executive Director, Eileen Doran.

Award winners include community members, volunteers and local businesses who support TARC, a not-for-profit service organization that works to enhance the lives of people with developmental and related disabilities and their families, with service, support, advocacy and community involvement.

20th Annual Winter Wonderland Sets Records

Thank you to our sponsors and the continued community support for TARC’s Winter Wonderland!

Our 20th Annual Winter Wonderland raised record funds to help us continue to provide quality service, support and advocacy for 2,500 children, families and adults with developmental, intellectual and related disabilities.

Thank you to all who contributed their time, talent and supported TARC – we were able to raise $203,784.98 with 12,550 vehicles that visited Winter Wonderland!
