Who We Are & Our Pledge
TARC is Shawnee County’s most experienced provider of support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
TARC enhances the lives of people affected by intellectual, developmental and related disabilities through commitment to excellence in service, support and advocacy.
Our vision is that all people, including those with intellectual, developmental and related disabilities experience life to their potential.
Giving to TARC is an easy choice and now easy to do with so many options: online, by phone, by mail, in person and planned giving. TARC is also able to accept donated vehicles and in-kind donations from our Wish List. We also love the gift of time for those who would like to volunteer with TARC.
Get your unique note cards with Heart & Soul! Each piece was developed and created with an open heart, mind and soul by 16 artists in TARC’s Day/Senior programming. By purchasing these note cards you are supporting the artist in everyone!
TARC Industries is a non-profit production facility that provides employment opportunities and work related experiences for persons with developmental disabilities.
